For Coffee Lovers

Whole beans ground fresh — every cup

Whole coffee beans ground in the SP400's stainless steel chamber give a noticeably richer brew than pre-ground coffee. The all-metal contact surface preserves aroma — no plastic aftertaste.

Grind coarse for filter, fine for espresso. One machine for your morning coffee and your daily masala.

Fresh Atta at Home

Chakki-fresh flour — without a chakki

Wheat ground in a Hakura spice mill produces atta with the bran intact — closer to traditional stone-ground chakki flour than packaged atta. No preservatives, no bleaching agents. Works as an atta chakki machine at home without the bulk or noise of a dedicated stone mill.

Best for 1–3 kg batches at a time. Grind once a week and store in an airtight container.

Frequently asked questions

No. All Hakura spice mills are designed for dry grinding only. For wet masala (onion-tomato paste, fresh coconut chutney, idli-dosa batter), you need a separate wet grinder. Feeding moist or oily materials into a dry mill can damage the grinding mechanism.
For a family of 4–5 grinding spices once a week, the SP400 at ₹10,000 is sufficient. If you grind daily, make atta at home regularly, or grind larger quantities (500g+ per session), the SP1000 at ₹17,500 is more suitable — the higher wattage means less motor strain on larger batches.
Yes. All models handle whole dry coffee beans — grind fine for espresso or coarser for filter coffee. The all-stainless steel grinding chamber leaves no plastic aftertaste. Clean the chamber with a dry run of a few tablespoons of rice after grinding coffee before switching to spices.
The SP4500 is a table-top machine for commercial kitchens — high capacity batch grinding. The Pulveriser is a floor-standing industrial machine rated at 60 kg/hr continuous throughput — built for masala manufacturers, food processing units, and bulk spice grinding operations. If you're grinding more than 30–40 kg per day, the Pulveriser is the right choice.
Run a small amount (2–3 tablespoons) of rice or plain wheat through the machine — it absorbs residual spice and pushes it out. Wipe the chamber and lid with a dry cloth. Do not wash with water. The stainless steel chamber is easy to wipe clean and does not absorb odours.
